Patna, Feb. 25 -- Bihar Industries and Road Construction Minister Dilip Jaiswal on Wednesday informed the state Assembly that in the future the Ganga Path project will be connected from Varanasi to Farakka.
While replying to a short-notice question of BJP MLA Mithilesh Tiwari, the minister said that this ambitious plan will ensure smooth transportation and also make the movement of commercial goods through waterways cheaper and more convenient. He said that the ambitious Ganga Path project is currently being constructed from Koilwar to Munger. He added that it will be extended in the future up to Varanasi via Buxar, and further from Munger to Farakka near Sahibganj.
