Varanasi, Sept. 21 -- The Indian and Pakistani cricket teams will once again face off on the field today.
A Ganga Aarti was organised at Assi Ghat today to pray for the Indian cricket team's victory. Members of Namami Gange and Batuk participated in the event.
Event coordinator Rajesh Shukla stated that the Ganga Aarti was performed with photographs and bats of Indian cricketers. The Indian cricket team is performing exceptionally well in the Asia Cup.
The hopes of 1.4 billion people of the country are pinned on the Indian team.
A few days ago, the Indian team defeated Pakistan in the same tournament.
