Shimla, March 27 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by Senior IPS Ms. Somya Sambasivan, has made key arrests related to the firing on former BJP MLA Bambar Thakur on Holi, March 14.
The main accused, Saurabh Patial alias Fandi, along with Kuldeep, was presented before the Sessions Court on Wednesday evening and sent to a three-day police remand.
Sources said the pistol used in the attack was provided by Kuldeep from Rohtak.
While the police have arrested seven accused, including shooters Sagar and Ajay, Manjeet Nadda, Rohit Rana, and Ritesh, two more shooters are absconding.
