New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Greater Noida-based Galgotias University has issued a public apology following the controversy at the recent AI Summit over the display of a robotic product at its pavilion.
In a press release here today, the university said that confusion was created after one of its representatives, who was manning the pavilion, gave factually incorrect information.
According to the statement, the representative was ill-informed about the technical origins of the product and was not authorised to speak to the press.
The university stated that in her enthusiasm while speaking on camera, she shared incorrect details, leading to the controversy. It clarified that there was no institutional intent to misrepresent the innovation.
