New Delhi, Dec. 4 -- Marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched the Purple Building Certification Scheme - India's first dedicated accessibility rating system for buildings and public places.
This scheme has been developed by the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), the world's largest medical technology cluster has developed the Scheme in collaboration with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (IDEA), an NGO working in the disability sector.
