Bhopal, Aug. 23 -- union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today inaugurated the longest overbridge of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur, and also announced a Rs 5,500-crore four-lane tiger corridor connecting four tiger reserves of the state.

At a function organised at Jabalpur, Gadkari inaugurated the 'Veerangana Rani Durgavati' flyover, which is 6.85 km long, and has been built at a cost of about Rs 1,200 crore.

The union minister also announced the construction of a greenfield highway between Bhopal and Jabalpur, at a cost of Rs 15,000 crore.

"It (tiger corridor) will connect Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna and Pench tiger reserves," Gadkari informed. The minister said the project would significantly boost tourism, employment and...
