Bhopal, Aug. 23 -- Saturday proved to be a historic day for Madhya Pradesh as Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav jointly inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of nine road projects covering 174 km, with a total investment of over Rs 4,250 crore.
Among these is the country's largest flyover -- Damoh Naka-Ranitall-Madanmahal-Medical Road Flyover.
At the grand event held at Mahanadda in Jabalpur, Gadkari also announced new road development projects worth more than Rs 60,000 cr for the state. For the first time in the country, a Central Road Fund (CRF) of Rs 1,200 cr has been approved for the Rani Durgavati Flyover in Jabalpur, it was officially learnt.
