Dharamshala, March 24 -- Chairman of the State Wool Federation Manoj Kumar termed the Himachal Pradesh budget a "milestone in governance reform," highlighting what he called historic decisions aimed at strengthening the Gaddi community and the shepherding sector.

Addressing a press conference at a local hotel here, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, stating that his rural background has helped him understand grassroots issues. Kumar said the state budget includes several measures to improve the economic condition of farmers, horticulturists, livestock rearers and especially the Gaddi community.
