Washington/New Delhi, March 21 -- US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's recent India visit highlights the decades-old strong US-India relationship that is bolstered by the leadership of and friendship between Prime Minister Modi and President Donald Trump, the US has said.

In a readout of Gabbard's first trip to the Indo-Pacific after taking over as DNI in February, and her visit to India earlier this week, it said that Gabbard held several bilateral engagements, including with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
