Mumbai, June 26 -- The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has voiced strong opposition to the casting of actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh in the upcoming war drama "Border 2", alleging a violation of the industry's boycott against collaborations with Pakistani artists.
FWICE, which represents the core workforce of India's film and television industry, expressed its unequivocal disapproval, citing Dosanjh's recent collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Amir in "Sardaar Ji 3" as a direct affront to the federation's longstanding directive opposing any professional association with Pakistani nationals.
