Jammu, Oct. 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that the practice of bi-annual Darbar Move, which was stopped four years back, will be resumed from this year when the offices will shift to the winter capital here.

"The cabinet has nodded for the revival of the century-old practice," Omar Abdullah here told reporters addressing a press conference.

He announced that the traditional bi-annual full-fledged Darbar Move practice will resume this year after a gap of more than four years.

"The file sent to the Lieutenant Governor has been approved and the Darbar Move practice is reviving from this year," he said.

The Cabinet had recommended the full-fledged Darbar Move in September.
