New Delhi, April 7 -- The union government on Sunday issued a comprehensive update on the impact of the ongoing West Asia conflict on India's aviation, fuel supply, maritime operations and the welfare of Indian nationals abroad, with senior officials from multiple ministries reaffirming that essential services remain stable and citizens' safety continues to be the top priority.

Providing an overview of the aviation scenario, the Civil Aviation Ministry said the sector has been significantly affected due to widespread airspace restrictions triggered by the conflict.
