Itanagar, Dec. 12 -- Students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Itanagar have reiterated their refusal to begin Semester 2, alleging that the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Institute authorities have failed to address critical infrastructure and academic requirements despite repeated commitments over the past year.

In a detailed statement issued on late Wednesday, the students said that the situation has "remained unchanged" since their earlier communication on December 4, in which they announced their decision not to resume classes.
