Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday alleged that the recent fire accident at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Nampally here was a deliberate act aimed at destroying crucial evidence linked to the vote-for-note case involving Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Addressing a press conference in Hanmakonda, KTR claimed the fire was stage-managed at a time when the case had reached a crucial stage and a verdict was imminent.
He questioned the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the outbreak of fire in a highly secured facility, delays in firefighting operations and what he termed as contradictory statements by the authorities on the extent of damage.
