New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- The Forest Survey of India (FSI) on Tuesday said it has not conducted any study claiming that only 9% of the Aravalli range lies above 100 metres.
Rejecting recent media reports, the agency said in a post on X, "FSI categorically refutes claims in certain sections of the media that it has carried out any study stating that only 9% of the Aravalli is above 100 metres."In a separate post, the agency added that it has also not undertaken any study suggesting that 90% of the Aravalli hills would be left unprotected following the Supreme Court's judgment dated November 20, 2025.
