New Delhi, July 8 -- Frontier comes up with an agreement with Arbor Energy, a California-based Carbon removal startup founded by a SpaceX engineer, Brad Hartwig.

The deal landed the mark of $41 million, which is one of the most terrific market commitments till now.

Reportedly, the contract will assist Arbor's first commercial-scale facility in Louisiana, which is expected to come in the picture by 2028. This facility is expected to eliminate almost 116,000 tons of carbon dioxide or CO2 between the period of 2028-2030.

Hannah Bebbington (Head of deployment at Advanced Market Commitment, Frontier) pointed out strongly towards Arbor's next-gen and advanced approach towards bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS).
