New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- : Delhi Police arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly posing as a member of the Himanshu Bhau gang in a bid to extort property worth nearly Rs 10 crore in Rohini, an official said on Thursday.

Police said the accused, Vikas, a resident of Village Banker in Narela, was apprehended on February 4 by the district's Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS).

"He falsely projected himself as a gang member to intimidate the complainant into transferring ownership of a plot located in Sector 23, Rohini," said Bhisham Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (North West).
