Shimla, Feb. 21 -- Himachal Pradesh witnessed major snowfall and rainfall in the past 24 hours, leading to a sharp drop in temperatures across various regions.
Heavy snowfall was recorded in several locations, with Gondla receiving 42 cm, Keylong 36 cm, and Kukumseri 24.3 cm. Other areas, including Jot (16 cm) and Khadrala (15 cm), also experienced fresh snow.
Significant rainfall was recorded in lower regions, with Nagrota Suriyan receiving 56.0 mm, followed by Gamroor (44.2 mm), Chamba (42.0 mm), and Saloni (36.2 mm). Other notable rain-hit areas included Tissa (35.7 mm), Seobagh (29.2 mm), Kangra (28.8 mm), and Dalhousie (24.0 mm).
