Bengaluru, Feb. 18 -- A fresh controversy has erupted at Vidhana Soudha after the Karnataka government moved to regulate media access within the legislature complex, triggering sharp political reactions.
The Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) has written to the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) proposing that journalists be confined to a designated area near the West Gate (Kengal Gate) and that only authorised media personnel with official identity cards be allowed entry.
