Amaravati, Sept. 22 -- The Meteorological Centre has predicted the formation of a fresh low-pressure area over east-central and adjoining north Bay of Bengal around September 25.
Moving west-northwestwards, it is expected to intensify into a depression over northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal, off the coasts of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh, around September 26. The system is likely to make landfall along the South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coast around September 27.
According to the daily weather report, a trough extends from the upper air cyclonic circulation over northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Myanmar-south Bangladesh coasts to north Tamil Nadu and adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts, between 3.1 and 5...
