Paris, Aug. 22 -- The opposition left-wing France Unbowed party (LFI) will call for a no-confidence vote in Prime Minister Francois Bayrou's government on the first day of parliament's session after the break due to the proposed draft budget for 2026, party coordinator Manuel Bompard said.
"The tool we have as parliamentarians to resist is a no-confidence vote. So I can tell you that on the first day of the parliamentary session, France Unbowed will call for a no-confidence vote to send the government into resignation and prevent the implementation of Bayrou's plan," Bompard told RTL radio on Thursday.
