Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- On the seventeenth anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou paid tribute to the victims and reaffirmed France's commitment to standing alongside India in the fight against terrorism.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, he said, "Mumbai Attacks 26/11: As we mark 17 years since these horrific attacks, France honours the memory of the victims. France reaffirms its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism and stands united with India in combating this scourge."The anniversary commemorates the brutal attacks carried out by ten terrorists from the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba group, who infiltrated Mumbai by sea on the night of November 26, 2008.
