Ranchi, July 9 -- The Jharkhand government has decided to equip all government hospitals in the state with free Wi-Fi services to facilitate access to health-related information and digital public services for patients and their attendants.
According to the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, the facility will be implemented by BSNL and will cover district hospitals, community health centres (CHCs), and primary health centres (PHCs) in phases.
Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Ajay Kumar, said the initiative is a significant step towards strengthening digital healthcare infrastructure in the state.
