Hyderabad, April 17 -- The Department of Heritage, Telangana, has announced free entry to all museums and monuments under its control on the occasion of World Heritage Day on April 18, 2026.
According to an official release issued from the Office of the Director, Department of Heritage at Gunfoundry, the initiative is aimed at encouraging public participation in celebrating and preserving the state's rich cultural heritage. Special World Heritage Day celebrations will also be held at the State Museum located in Public Gardens, Hyderabad.
Visitors will be able to explore several prominent heritage sites without any entry fee, including the State Museum at Public Gardens, Qutb Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad, Bhongir Fort, Elgandal Fort in Karimna...
