Chennai, Nov. 4 -- Mutual fund player Franklin Templeton (India) on Tuesday announced the launch of Franklin India Multi-Factor Fund (FIMF), an open-ended equity scheme following a multi-factor based quantitative investment strategy.
FIMF uses a data-driven, systematic approach to select stocks based on factors such as Quality, Value, Sentiment, and Alternatives (QVSA).
For the proposed new fund, the investment universe consists of the top 500 listed companies in India by market capitalization.
The fund aims to deliver risk-adjusted returns by combining a disciplined, model-driven process with the fund manager's insights, Franklin Templeton (India) said.
