Chennai, Oct. 31 -- In a tragic incident, four women drowned in seawhen they were taking bath at Periyakuppam shore near the northernsuburb of Ennore in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, this afternoon, evenas Chief Miniser M K Stalin condoled their deaths and announced asolatium of three lakhs each to their families.
Police said the victims were staying at the Sri Lankan Rehabilitation campin the district and the tragedy occurred when they went to the sea shore totake a bath.
The deceased were identified as Devaki (29), Bhavani (19), Shalini (18) andGayathri (28).
