Shimla, April 4 -- At least four persons were feared killed and several others injured after a passenger vehicle carrying tourists plunged off the road near Sojha in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday evening.

According to information received from Banjar Police Station, the accident occurred near Sojha when the vehicle carrying tourists spun out of control and fell into a gorge at around 8.30 pm.

Police said that six to seven injured passengers were immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Banjar for treatment with the help of 108 ambulance services, while rescue operations were launched at the accident site with the assistance of local residents.
