Four tourism addresses in Odisha get facelift under Centre's Swadesh Darshan: Shekhawat

Bhubaneswar, July 21 -- The Gopalpur, Barkul, Satapada and Tampara ecotourism tourist destinations in Odisha have received a facelift under Coastal Circuit plan and funding from the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, the minister of tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat informed Lok Sabha today in a written reply.

While replying a query by Kendrapara, MP Baijayant Panda, the minister said the tourism ministry has revamped Swadesh Darshan Scheme as Swadesh Darshan (2.0) with the objective to develop sustainable and responsible tourism destinations following a destination and tourist centric approach.
