Kolkata, July 10 -- Four senior IPS officers, including Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate in the rank of IG, Laxmi Narayan Meena, have been transferred with immediate effect.
While Mr Meena was transferred to CID, WB, in the rank of Inspector General of Police from his present posting at Bidhannagar, DIG, Murshidabad Range, Mukesh has been asked to take charge from Mr Meena.
DIG, CID ( Operation), Sunil Kumar Choudhary has been asked to take charge as DIG Murshidabad Range and Joint CP HQ Bidhananagar Ranendra Nath Banerjee
has been shifted as DIG, (Border) IB, with immediate effect.
