Chandigarh, Aug. 2 -- Four police officers from Himachal Pradesh have been suspended after being filmed purchasing alcohol while on duty in Chandigarh. The incident, which has sparked controversy, occurred when the officers, dressed in their uniforms, visited a local liquor store and loaded a crate of alcohol into their official vehicle. Solan's Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaurav Singh verified the incident after the video gained attention online and promptly suspended the officers, ordering a detailed departmental investigation.
