Hardoi, July 16 -- Four members of a family, including a couple and their two children, were crushed to death when a dumper hit their motorcycle in Sandila Kotwali area near Saint Therasa bypass here on Tuesday.
Shravan, his wife Rinki and their three children were proceeding towards Hardoi city on a motorcycle when a dumper hit their vehicle, police said.
A three-month-old infant girl, who was in her mother's lap, survived as she was thrown away in the incident.
The couple and their two children-- Dhakar ( 6) and Muskan (3) were killed on the spot.
Shravan was not wearing helmet. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
