Unnao, Dec. 16 -- Four people were killed in a horrific road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway early today morning after the tyre of their SUV burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into the divider.
The accident occurred around 5 am near Kilometre Number 241 in the Bangarmau area. The victims were travelling in an SUV from Ghaziabad towards Lucknow when the front tyre reportedly burst at a speed of over 100 kmph. The vehicle went out of control and rammed into the divider, resulting in severe damage to its front portion.
The collision led to a loud explosion, drawing the attention of people nearby. Police reached the spot soon after receiving the information and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
