Bahraich, Nov. 5 -- Four people were killed, including year one-year-old child, in a tragic road accident that occurred this morning near Madan Kothi intersection on the Bahraich-Lucknow National Highway.
According to police reports, the incident took place around 6 a.m. when a gravel-laden trailer coming from the Fakharpur side lost control due to dense fog and the driver reportedly dozing off.
The trailer veered off toward the roadside ditch and crashed head-on into a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
The impact was so severe that all four riders on the motorcycle, a woman, a child, and two men, died on the spot. After the collision, the trailer driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
