Lucknow, Oct. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday night announced the transfer of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including key positions in the Lucknow Police Commissionerate and the State Security Headquarters.
IPS officer Ashish Srivastava, who was serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central in the Lucknow Commissionerate, has been transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP), Security Headquarters.
In his place, IPS officer Vikrant Veer has been appointed as the new DCP Central, Lucknow.
Prior to this posting, Vikrant Veer was serving as SP (Attached), Director General of Police (DGP) Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh.
