Mumbai, Jan. 13 -- Four people were injured and five were arrested following a clash between workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) in Tukaram Nagar, Dombivli, during the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation election campaign. The incident occurred late on Monday late night after allegations of cash distribution surfaced in the area.

Police said on Tuesday, a case has been registered against twelve persons, including Shiv Sena candidates Nitin Patil and Ravi Patil, at the Dombivli police station. Five Shiv Sena workers have been arrested in connection with the violence.
