Hyderabad, Nov. 7 -- In view of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, the Cyberabad Police have announced a four-day wine ban in the city.

All liquor outlets will remain closed from 1800 hours on November 9 to 1800 hours on November 11.

Additionally, wine and liquor shops will also remain shut on November 14, the day of counting, until the process concludes, and on any day of re-poll, if required.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty issued these orders under Section 20 of the Excise Act, 1968, and Section 135-C of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
