Nagpur, Jan. 9 -- Police have cracked an interstate drug trafficking operation, arresting four persons from Odisha and seizing 29.1 kg of ganja concealed in a specially designed hidden compartment of a car.
The total value of the seized contraband, vehicle and mobile phones is estimated at Rs 12.02 lakh, officials said.
According to officials, the operation was carried out in the early hours of Thursday when police personnel on night patrol noticed a white car (HR-29 AZ 4166) parked under suspicious circumstances near Nupur Wine Shop at Farse Chowk in Nagpur.
As officers approached the vehicle, one individual fled the spot, while three others were apprehended.
