Hyderabad, Jan. 5 -- Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday said the foundation stones for 10 integrated sub-registrar office buildings will be laid by the end of this month as part of a major overhaul of the Stamps and Registration Department.
Replying to a question by MLC A V N Reddy in the Legislative Council, the Minister said the reforms, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, are aimed at providing efficient, transparent and corruption-free services to the public.
He said the integrated sub-registrar office system would put an end to people waiting for hours, often under trees, for property registrations.
