Agartala, May 20 -- As part of a nationwide programme to reach the farmers, Tripura government has decided to roll out 'Vikshit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan' (VKSA) from May 29 to June 12, aiming to boost agricultural productivity and enhance farmers' income.
Tripura Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath said he met with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan via videoconferencing to ensure the programme's success. It has been decided that the Agriculture Ministry institutions, like ICAR, will join hands to reach the doorsteps of the farmers.
