Hyderabad, May 27 -- BRS leader and former MLA from Wyira constituency, Banothu Madan Lal, passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli following a heart attack.
He was 62.
Madan Lal began his political journey in 2009 and won the Wyira Assembly seat in 2014 on a YSRCP ticket before joining the BRS. He contested from BRS in the 2018 and 2023 Assembly elections and was currently serving as the party's in-charge for the Wyira constituency.
Born on May 3, 1963, in Irlapudi village, Khammam district, Madan Lal holds a BA degree from Osmania University. He was known for his dedication to public service, particularly for the welfare of tribals and the underprivileged.
