Bulandshahr, Aug. 2 -- In a shocking incident, former village head Sanjay Chaudhary was shot dead by two assailants wearing only undergarments in Daulatabad village, located in the Aurangabad area of Bulandshahr district. The attackers fled the scene on foot after committing the murder. According to police, Sanjay Chaudhary (52), a resident of Daulatabad, was returning home on a motorcycle with his cousin Jitendra Chaudhary in the wee hours today. As they neared a pond on the outskirts of the village, two unidentified assailants intercepted them and opened fire on Sanjay. The former village head died on the spot.
