Patna, Aug. 19 -- Former Union minister Nagamani, his wife and former Bihar minister Suchitra Sinha and former IPS officer Anand Mishra today joined BJP ahead of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
They joined BJP in the presence of state party president Dilip Jaiswal.
Mishra, after joining the party, said he would continue to work for strengthening the party. He had resigned from the IPS to strengthen BJP, he said.
Mishra parried a question relating to the possibility of contesting from the Buxar seat on BJP ticket, saying his only aim was to strengthen the party. It was certain that BJP would emerge victorious from Buxar, irrespective of the fact that who would contest, he said.
