Prayagraj, July 6 -- Former Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Vijma Yadav on Monday claimed to have received a death threat for fighting her husband's murder case in this Uttar Pradesh district. The former MLA, residing in Ashok Nagar, said that four car-borne miscreants had, on July 2, warned her to stop fighting the case or prepared to die.

Ms Yadav has registered a case against the four based on the car number at the Cantt police station. She said the armed miscreants alighted from a car near her house between 2200 and 2230 hrs on July 2. Their vehicle had a flag of the ruling party, she averred.
