Dehradun, Jan. 5 -- In a startling revelation on Uttarakhand's sensational Ankita Bhandari murder of 2023, a former member of the SIT formed to probe the case has revealed that the 'VIP' being talked about in the case was identified, but no evidence was found against him.
He said that the search for "VIP" was launched by the SIT after the word appeared in a mobile chat between Ankita and her friend.
Haridwar SP Rural Shekhar Suyal, who was a member of the SIT formed to investigate the killing of the 19-year old girl, has claimed that although a so-called 'VIP' was identified, no evidence was found against him.
