Moscow, June 3 -- Expressing its distaste over the second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, Russia's former intelligence officer Lt. Gen (ret) Leonid Reshetnikov, called the meeting "an unacceptable ultimatum" for Moscow.

The two delegations, who met in Istanbul yesterday and concluded the second round of peace talks, exchanged memorandums and took time to review them.

"Their memorandum, which looks like an absolutely unacceptable ultimatum to Russia" essentially demands surrender and retreat.
