Itanagar, May 17 -- Former Arunachal Pradesh MP Takam Sanjoy has strongly condemned China's repeated attempts to rename places in Arunachal Pradesh, calling the moves "unethical, humiliating, and arbitrary."
The senior Congress leader questioned the legitimacy of China's actions and accused it of trying to destabilize long-standing diplomatic ties with India.
Sanjoy, whose official email was allegedly hacked by Chinese operatives during his tenure as a Lok Sabha MP, expressed outrage over the recent renaming of 27 places in the state by China. "These artificial nomenclatures have no connection to our genealogy or historical roots," he asserted.
