Amravati, Nov. 3 -- Former Amravati MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Navneet Rana, has received another letter allegedly threatening her with death and sexual assault, the second such threat within a week, police officials said today.
According to officials, the latest letter was delivered by speed post to Rana's residence in Amravati. The envelope, sent from Hyderabad and signed by a person identifying himself as Abdul, contained abusive language and explicit threats.
Ms Rana's personal assistant, Mangesh Kokate, lodged a complaint at the Rajapeth Police Station, following which a case was registered and an investigation initiated.
