Jaunpur, Oct. 10 -- Additional Sessions Judge Chatur Sariq Siddiqui of the MP- MLA Court in Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, today acquitted former MP Dhananjay Singh, Ashutosh Jamaitha, and Puneet Singh under the Gangster Act charges in the highly publicized Belav double murder case happened on April 1, 2010.
According to official sources, the MP MLA Court had already acquitted Dhananjay Singh, Ashutosh Jamathia, and Puneet Singh under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code in the 2010 double murder case at Belav Ghat in the Zafarabad police station area of the district, in a contract dispute. Now, the court has also acquitted them under the Gangster Act charges.
