Ayodhya, March 26 -- Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh visited Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami. He was warmly welcomed by party workers upon his arrival in the temple town.
During his visit, Singh offered prayers at the Ram Janmabhoomi and sought blessings of Ram Lalla. He also visited Hanuman Garhi, where he paid obeisance.
Speaking to the media at Maharishi Valmiki Airport, Singh said that it was his privilege to visit Ayodhya on Ram Navami. He added that he prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the country.
