Patna, Oct. 11 -- Former MP from Jehanabad Arun Kumar along with his large number of supporters today joined JD(U), giving strength to the party in Magadh region of Bihar amid heat of ongoing state assembly elections.
Kumar, former MP from Jehanabad was in LJP (Ram Vilas) and had deserted the party during Lok Sabha elections last year after he was not given opportunity to contest election.
Working president of JD(U) Sanjay Jha, union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, Bihar Ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Ashok Chaudhary and former MP from Jehanabad Chandeshwar Chandravanshi were among others who were present on the occasion when Kumar accepted the membership of the party.
